Saturday, Dec 27, 2008 was the inaugural day of Phoenix's Light Rail commuter train. About 150,000 showed up Saturday for the free rides which continued through New Year's Eve. Lynn, Dave and a friend, Mark, spent the day traveling and enjoying the commemerative festivities. Conversations with fellow passengers proved that all were thrilled that the fifth largest metropolitan area in the country finally has a commuter train.
