For the past three years we have attended July 4 activities in Anacortes. We start the day with a town picture that is published in the paper the following week and then we watch a wonderful parade of candy throwing people in a variety of costumes. After the parade, we go to a town meeting, listen to the town criar, and eat hot dogs and hamburgers. Later in the evening we sit across the bay and watch the fireworks and their reflection in the water. This year John and Linn Rojewski, friends from Phx, joined us and brought their 3-year-old granddaughter.
