We went out looking for photo opportunities with birds three times in December. We took a raft trip down the Skagit River and saw more than 70 Eagles. It was cold and rainy so the pictures were a little difficult to take. We also went out into the Samish flats looking for eagles and hawks and we found Herons also. As we were leaving the Skagit Valley to go south to Phoenix we saw thousands of snow geese close to the road. We were not able to stay more than a few minutes but it was fun.
