Daybreak at Henry Thompson Bridge
Built 1916-1918, this graceful arch crossing the Baker River was once the longest single-span concrete bridge in the world. The Henry Thompson bridge was built using precast concrete donated by both the Washington and Superior Portland Cement companies that gave the town its name.
